SUMMARY:Actors Economy Buster Training: Make Your Kid a Star
DESCRIPTION:Seasoned actors and new talent alike will be able to get t
raining in various areas of stage and camera work.\n\nThe economy bust
er training is a way to help you out without costing an arm and a leg.
These two hour seminars would normally range between $60-$100 and mor
 e. Instead these classes will run for a suggested donation of $10 per
person. If you can contribute more, it is welcome because part of the
proceeds will go back to Big Dawg. If you only have a few dollars to t
hrow in the till, you will still be welcome.\n\nThis session is design
ed for parents and guardians of minor children entering the business.
It includes all of the information from the ‘How to Enter the Film I
ndustry’ but is set up to teach the parents methods to promote their
children without becoming stage parents. If you want to help your min
or child in this industry, this seminar is a must. Few parents are awa
re of how they are viewed and you can further your child’s progressi
on if you are armed with the behind the scenes look at the ‘stage pa
rent’.\n\nAbout the instructor:\n\nMichele Seidman has been teaching
talent and guiding them for over 25 years. She teaches privately and
has lectured at various colleges and universities in the South East, i
ncluding UNCW, Craven CC, ODU, and CFCC to name a few. She created the
CFCC Cinema Symposiums where she helped start the film program from 1
998-2000. She owned and operated SMC Talent and Models from 1993-96 an
d has also done some casting for commercial, industrial and indie film
projects. Her students have worked in feature & indie film, tv, comme
rcial, animation, voice over and stage. Michele has also guided filmma
kers in their craft and continues to be a strong supporter of indie fi
lm. Her resume can be found on the IMDB, Actors Access, NowCasting, 8o
oCasting and more. Her recent role as Flora Barren in the indie film A
Little Mouth to Feed has helped the project get screenings at Slamdan
ce 2009, Fright Night 2009, Philly Cine Fest 2009, Best Horror at CFIF
F 2008 and more. She started with stage and was a regular on the Soap
Opera Another Life as the character Jill Hanson and continued in proje
cts like Empire Records, Dingalingless, Patriotville, Dawsons Creek an
 d more.\nEmail: Mscat6977@aol.com (acting in subject box)\nCell: 910-3

ut Michele is particularly exhausted with all of the scams and outdate
d information out there. She hopes this will help people build their d
reams with tried and true methods that don’t break the bank. These s
eminars will be one of the most positive things you can do for your ca
 reer.\n\nFor more information visit http://wilmonfilm.ning.com/events/
