- From featured extra on Matlock's first season in ILM...to production assistant in the art department of the same season...to set decorating buyer...to assistant location manager....to recruiting millions in film projects to ILM in the lmid to late 90's....let's just say that I have not been biten, but ATTACKED by the process of filmmaking. I have been writing screenplays for over a decade now. I recruited so many sorry scripts/stories that were green lit, that I knew I could do it. Lately, I have found that I miss the hands-on creativity....the part that creates the make-believe world of which the actors become their characters...creating the kitchen where a murder plot is planned...the bedroom where kids become pirates on ships under a canopy of sheets...and the office where the writer creates his best-selling story. Creativity comes in many forms...the important thing is to exercise it. If I were color...I would be green. Why? Because I become bored with complacent people, places and things. So I could be and do whatever I want. Maybe next time I will direct my own film. Who knows?
