Prods.  This is under SAG-AFTRA student film contract for Savannah College of Art & Design.  I play Sam, an older man with Alzheimer's Disease whose last worldly connections are fading from mind.  Robert Sud directs this short that shoots in Savannah in May.See More

LEE ARMSTRONG has generated an impressive body of work as an actor in 68 films. He played Officer Armstrong in The Farrelly Brothers' feature The Three Stooges. This year he played the Public Defender in the SAGAFTRA low budget feature "Susie," a lead in FSU's "The Brewmaster," a mortuary mogul in Dead Serious' "And the Boy Was Happy," & a lead in Back Row's "Creative Writing." His films have been honored in many festivals. “The Wise Kids” in which he played Harry, a closeted gay church organist, won the Grand Jury Award for BEST U.S. DRAMATIC FEATURE at Outfest 2011 in Los Angeles, Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at NewFest in NYC, Jury Awards for Best Narrative Feature and Best Ensemble at Out on Film Atlanta & both the SHOUT Jury Award and SHOUT Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature in Birmingham AL. “Dead End Job” in which he played a leading role as Al, the Angel of Mercy, won BEST FEATURE at the 2010 PITTSBURGH Film Workers Film Festival & the AUDIENCE CHOICE Award at the CAPE FEAR Independent Film Festival. “Black Eyed Redemption” in which he played plant supervisor Mark won a Gold Remi Award at the 2011 World-Fest HOUSTON International Film Festival. “President’s Day” in which he played a creepy janitor won BEST PICTURE at Killer Fest in FRANKFURT, GERMANY. His leading role as Raef Liquor in “Internet Detective Blog” won BEST COMEDY at the 2009 EAST CAROLINA Film Festival. “Elimination” won 4TH SHORT Film at Sky Fest III in ASHEVILLE, North Carolina in which Lee played a leading part as a computer programmer fatally entangled in a political assassination. “On the Market” in which Lee had a featured role as a guy on a gym bike won BEST ENSEMBLE CAST IN A SHORT FILM at the 2009 NEW YORK International Film Festival. "Intermediate," in which Lee played Mr. Cornwell, a science teacher covering the facts of life, won the Grand Jury Prize @ UNC Charlotte Film Festival 2012. “The Revolutionary” in which he played the Prime Minister won BEST PICTURE at 2011 Campus Fest. "No Good Maxine" where Lee played diner owner Donald is a 2012 Official Selection at the Bare Bones Film Festival in Musgokee OK. "Eat Me" is an Official Selction at the 2012 Cape Fear Independent Film Festival. Other work includes the SAG feature “Off Ramp to Eden” in which Lee played the Mayor. He recently completed a leading role in the feature “Escape from Tomorrow” that filmed in LOS ANGELES and ORLANDO. He has also worked on the small screen on "Scorpion," "The Baker," "The Carrier," "Southern Fried Stings, HBO's "Not Necessarily the News" and NBC's "Real People."

Lee says, "It's been great fun & hard work. No one does this alone; and I've met so many wonderful people that make me feel I've been truly blessed." He has degrees in theatre from U of Iowa (MA) & Illinois State U (BS). He teaches theatre & acting for the camera @ Pitt Community College in Greenville NC. His most influential acting study was with Jeremiah Comey Studios in Los Angeles. He is an active member of SAGAFTRA. Lee is represented by STW Talent in Wilmington, stwtalent@me.com.
