The audition process... 6 commandments.

I spent three years in NYC doing the struggling actor bit, going to acting school, working crummy part-time jobs, and auditioning lots. At the time I was there, the average actor booked 1 in 37 gigs. Can't help it... I love actors.

I've heard Matt Stone and Trey Parker (creators of South Park) state emphatically that they hate actors. It's the reason they do animation. They don't want to deal with the drama and egos and kookiness that actors invariably bring to the table. Even I couldn't suppress a chuckle at the gag in their film TEAM AMERICA where Alec Baldwin stumps for the Film Actor's Guild, or F.A.G.I'm the polar opposite of those guys. I love actors.
