Cape Fear Independent Film Festival Promo Competition
Cape Fear Independent Film Festival will be celebrating its 10TH ANNIVERSARY this year and we are EXCITED!!
CFIFF has always been YOUR festival. So this year, we're letting YOU do the advertising! Tell us what's great about CFI: Film Fest. Make a promo video, make us laugh, make us cry, make us go "Hmmm..." but make it SHORT (3 minutes max) and make us want to be there!
You didn't think we'd make you do all that work for nothing did you? Not at all! The top 5 videos will air in rotation during CFIFF 2010, in addition, the top 5 will be used as promotion in the months leading up to CFIFF 2010(this may include blogging, podcasting and television airtime). The First Prize winner will net 2 all access passes to the festival as well as a weekend stay with one of our hospitality sponsors (in the past, this has included the Hilton Riverfront as well as the Sunspree resort).
To make it simple:
1. Post your 3 minute or shorter promo to the CFIFN group page
2. Message the Admins with your name, the title of your project, a phone number and e-mail address as well as a short note confirming that you have read and understand the official rules.
3. Make sure that you have the rights to EVERYTHING in your project (music, images, people, etc)
4. Top ten finalists will be selected on or about December 20, 2009
5. The top 10 projects will be open to popular vote, you will vote by commenting on your favorite video, ONE VOTE PER DAY, PLEASE!!
6. The top 5 films and the GRAND PRIZE WINNER will be announced on or about Jan 20, 2010
7. The top 5 films will be used to promote CFIFF and the Grand Prize Winner will receive 2 all access passes and a weekend stay with one of our hospitality sponsors.
