Dead End Job

I'm pleased to share that I'm joining the cast of Mori-Dog Movies feature "Dead End Job." I play Al, an angel of mercy who revives the dead and always carries a trash tabloid mag and a sandwich. William Lilly directs. This is the second feature I've done for his company following "Silentium Est Aurem" that shot in January. Film begins shooting in February in the Raleigh area.

Once again, Mori-Dog Movies is accepting headshots for consideration in our upcoming film, Dead End Job. We are filming this project in the off-time from our feature, Silentium Est Aureum. Please read the following character breakdowns carefully as we’re looking for very specific people for the roles. The film will carry a PG/PG-13 for adult language and situations. There is alcohol use in the script, so ALL ACTORS MUST BE 21+. I WILL NOT take anyone under age.

Character Breakdown:

Robert Monroe (LEAD) - 23-29 year old, Caucasian male, short brown or black hair, 5’7”-6’ tall, clean-shaven, average build. Just a guy looking for a job to keep his girl and house.

Jacob Laraby (LEAD) - 23-29 year old, Caucasian male, long hair & goatee, 5’7”-6’ tall, average build, slovenly lush. Robert’s lazy, good-for-nothing roommate.

Jenn (LEAD) - 21-27 year old, Caucasian female, brunette, 5’3”-5’8” tall, slim to average build. Robert’s girlfriend, waitress, sweet but stern.

Trevor’s Secretary (SUPPORT) - 30-50 year old, African American female, black hair, 5’-6’ tall, a little larger with a bad attitude. Secretary for Trevor’s office, doesn’t like people and likes her job even less.

Terrence’s Secretary (SUPPORT) - 30-40 year old, any ethnicity, 5’-6’ tall, any build. Secretary for Terrence Darby. Actress for this role will also be used as a voiceover for a telephone recording.

Tiffany (SUPPORT) - 21-25 year old, Caucasian female, any hair color, 5’2”-5’9”. Sexy/sleazy video game store employee who uses her looks to get what she wants. Nothing compromising, but uses seductive body language and wears short & tight fitting clothes.

This is being filmed in Raleigh, Cary, and Apex, NC.

Unfortunately I cannot comment on compensation at the moment. I am looking for a producer to provide funding, but we will proceed with this as an unpaid gig until we have a budget. HOWEVER, all actors will get copy and credit with the completion of the film. I do plan to enter this into multiple festivals, so IMDB credit will also be available.
