Local project supports Children's Miracle Network

SUPERHERO, a short film by Langley McArol, will begin production in mid July. The goal of this film is to raise $2,200. $1,200 is for production purpose, and the other $1,000 will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network.

The story centers around a single mother, Isabelle Champion, raising her seven year old son, Jeremy. Jeremy has a vivid imagination, a love for comic books, and has been diagnosed with Leukemia. Can he be saved by his fantasy SUPERHERO, "The Mighty Celestial"?

This story is loosely based on, and written as a tribute to, Langley's mother, who passed away in '92.
